Nebraska Repertory Theatre 2009 Season Opens July 9th

The season closes Sunday, August 9. See below for details of each play and special offers such as the August 1st special event: CONVERSATIONS WITH DICK CAVETT.

The Drawer Boy by Michael Healey - A stage illusion washes away old lies.
Disabled by memory loss, Angus (George Hansen) gets by with a little help from his bachelor farmer friend, Morgan (Richard Marlatt). When an actor (Christian Stokes) shows up to write a play about farming, they see their lives on the stage. Redemptive and funny, Drawer Boy is a reminder of the healing power of art.

Vino Veritas by David MacGregor - A single sip of truth spices up two marriages.
Lauren (Melissa Lewis) gets a bottle of wine on her trip to Peru with her husband (Ian Borden) that promises to add gusto to Halloween cocktails with the neighbors (Sasha Dobson and Ryan Kathman). This is a wild concoction: a full shot of comedy zinging with zesty truths.

Change spins through this isolated little community, shaking everyone with laughter, suspicion, wistful yearning, love, and hope.
