Sheldon Will Be Open July 3rd & 5th; Closed for July 4th

Zorach2 Sheldon Museum of Art welcomes visitors to its galleries during this holiday weekend. The Museum will be open from 10 to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 3, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 5. It will be closed for the holiday on July 4.

Exhibitions on view include:

Play's the Thing: The Paintings and Objects of Jun Kaneko

James McNeill Whistler: 40 Years of Printmaking

Divine Abstractions: Spiritual Expressions in Art

Subject(s) to Change: American Art from the Permanent Collection

Sheldon will not have a First Friday reception this month. Instead, it will present a Family Fun Event on Friday, July 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. Join us for art-making activities for children and fun for the entire family.
